SSH (Secure Shell)

Login to the ocf server at ocf.berkeley.edu with a SSH client like PuTTy.
ssh-1-login.jpg
Click Open, and when prompted for a username, type beam along with the associated password.
Another prompt will appear: type xterm
You should be logged into the ocf server now, with access to all of beam's files!

Alternatively, if you prefer a graphical interface, use a program like WinSCP to login to the ocf server and manipulate beam's files in a window, instead of with a command prompt. (Note: In order to perform tasks such as changing the password associated with the beam username, you'll need to use a command line inside PuTTy.)
The login procedure for WinSCP is similar to PuTTy, except you enter in your username and password up front:

Email contact images (so bots can't copy our wonderful facilitators' emails and spam them)

To be consistent with the email images already up on the beam website, first you'll need the Futurist Fixed-Width font, which you can get free from the dafont website.
